Same boat. Meal time has become the hardest bit. I did baby lee weaning and she did so well. Now she even dont touch the food. We have to feed her. Everything is on floor. I am just so tired of food wastage
We went through this stage. I found it so hard because I wanted him to eat so I would give him something else if he didn’t eat the meal I offered him first. I think that this made it worse so we have been quite firm and if he doesn’t eat the meal, there is nothing else. So far so good🤞
@Jasmine I was doing this but felt awful the thought of her going hungry but definitely going to go back to not offering anything else! Xx
We had a couple of weeks of sudden fussiness which was so out of character as our girl has always loved her food. I didn't know the cause but we stayed persistent and had to be a bit brutal without being mean, I think it was just a control thing now she's getting her own mind. So if she threw it, we just didn't react at all, picked it up (she has a mat under her chair) took it away and then let her tantrum a bit then would ask if she is hungry a short stint later (literally a minute after she calmed) and then offered the exact same food. Some days it went on and on her throwing, us taking away and bringing back the same food (which I know for a fact she likes as she even did it with her faves) and eventually she gave up and just ate it all It was so exhausting though and she just kept asking for yoghurts (her other favourite) but as an ex fussy eating kid myself I just don't want to pass on my issues as I had so many barriers to overcome with food as I got older and still have some picky habits now
In the same boat my little one lives off yogurts, fruit, sausage rolls, sandwiches but only ham 😂 she’s a nightmare veg is impossible to get in her unless you hid it and she’s getting clever with that now to she’s eating 3 meals a day and still putting on weight so I’m not to worried
Girl - same 😭 he used to eat everything and now will only eat sausages waffles and pears. All his previous favourites he won’t even try, just throws it on the floor. Hoping it’s a phase but it’s been aaaages!
