Double pram

Hi ladies My baby is due in a few weeks and my 3 year old daughter still likes sitting in her pram. I'm thinking of getting a double pram with newborn insert. Is anyone else doing the same?

My daughter will be 2Y 4M and I was originally against the idea of getting a double pram but I’ve bought one off market place now. So if it’s not used a ton, at least I haven’t wasted a lot. But she’s often in her pram now for longer days out so think I’d struggle without it x

I’ve gotten a tandem so it has the carrycot + toddler seat then 2nd child seat to add on later

Yeah we got an out and about v4 on marketplace and even though no2 isn't born yet its already a gamechanger- the tyres and manouvreability are amazing..its made pushing my 16 month old (who is the same size as a 2.5 year old) so much easier in late pregnancy. I've bought a bassinet on vinted for one side of it for the newborn as I figure it will be cold so easy to wrap up, and keeps baby-to-be separate from my toddler. I do think they only go up to the age of around 4 years old though but anything for an easier life! I went with that one as wanted a side by side but its one of the only ones narrow enough to fit through standard doorways/on buses etc.

I’ve actually woken up panicking about this as I will need a double pram but keep putting it off but now I’m realising there isn’t much time left 😣 I’ll have a 1 year old and a newborn and I’m clueless what to actually get I’m worried I won’t be able to manouvre it myself or fit through doors. I struggle with my ocarro sometimes 🫣worried I’ll never leave the house because of this now.

@Siobhan we have 18 month old and baby due soon, we have bought candy orange. So you can have the toddler tandem seat on, with the newborn carry cot, then once baby is older you can add another toddler seat on too. I’ll attach a pic xx

Thanks so much everyone

@Karlie this is actually the one I was looking at! Thrn someone told me that going up kerbs is hard 😣 I think I’m still going to go for this I don’t go up many kerbs anyways 😂 xx

@Siobhan I think it’s just due to the weight so any double would be hard to go up them lol. Just avoid them 😅 use the dropped curbs instead. Xxx

I have been looking at the ickle bubba double with the newborn carry cot. Debating if I should get it or not.
