3½ year old behaviour 🤯

Where are you guys standing regarding challenging behaviour with your 3 year olds? How bad is it on a day to day basis? Do they listen? Do they understand consequences? I'm currently at a point where I dread getting up in the morning. She just doesn't listen to a word I'm saying. Ever! She started hitting, pushing and even kicking. Everything is no. Constant tantrums and running away. She dictates everyone around. Something as simple as going down the stairs. Nope not with her. She has to walk on the wall side. Me or her older brother have to hold her hand, walking a step behind her. Never in front or beside. If her brother is already downstairs he has to come back up or she'll throw herself around. On the top of the stairs! And that's just one of many, many things that happen every single day. Multiple times. I'm beyond exhausted. When will it stop?? Pic so we don't get lost 🎅

Following for answers too as we are in a similar boat!x

That's my boy in a nutshell and it's making me very sad. I was recommended a book called 'How to Talk So Little Kids will Listen' by joanna Faber and Julie King. I bought the Audio off amazon, will start listening tomorrow. Fingers crossed x

Exact same as my little boy, I’m hoping it’s just another phase and there’ll grow out of it. It’s frustrating to see and watch them but it won’t last forever x
