Need some advice!

If anyone can advise ! My 10.5 month old boy has been army crawling for 3 weeks now and he does it by using both arms but only his right leg. His left leg seems to drag behind him. He has got up on all fours and can usually kick both legs and bear weight on both legs. Almost can stand on his own. When he tries on all fours , that same left leg is tucked inside and he only uses the one knee. Any experiences mums been through this ? Should I be concerned or will he start crawling or walking normally soon! Thanks.

I would send your HV a message. I would assume it’s not anything to be concerned about as it’s only been three weeks but I wouldn’t want you ignoring it encase he needs to be referred.

My little boy is simular. He seems to crawl on one leg and drag the other behind. Our floors are all wooden in our house and ive noticed he crawls on both knees on carpet? Not sure if maybe he can't get a grip. What are your floors like? I spoke to someone and they said that's normal to be crawling like that!

My little boy is exactly the same. He’s been army crawling for about a month now with one leg dragging behind. He’s getting up on all fours now and literally just on the verge of properly crawling so assuming it’s completely normal. Can’t believe how far he travels!

Nursery practitioner!! I’d say send your HV a message, but they likely wont do anything or be concerned until 12/18 months, unless they think there might be something affecting his ability to use both legs xx they might just suggest some activities that promote using both arms and legs and tell you to contact them at the age of 1 if there’s no progress but go with what your gut says! I’ve seen plenty of babies only bum shuffle/roll/army crawl and go on to walk just fine in their own time xx

Patience my friend… all babies do it

Okay thank you everyone
