Thoughts please the wait is killing me

You can feel bad even if you’re not pregnant. What’s your tests like? Have they been getting darker? X

I did one on 6th and one today but I wouldn't say there's much difference in the colour of the tests 🙈

I didn’t really have any difference in tests 24 hours, it’s annoying how waiting is just how it is 😭😭 I couldn’t wait either!! X

Who has told you it’s likely a chemical? On what grounds? Nothing you have said so far makes me assume anything but a pregnancy. When comparing the tests, are they the brand, both taken with FMU etc. you are around 9dpo so your tests may well be quite light and if parameters aren’t all the same, you might not see much of a difference. I’d ask for beta HCG blood draw as a medical professional has told you you are having a miscarriage, or wait a few days and test again if was just Susan in Asda telling what thinks. Let’s us know xx

Tbh they look good for 9/10dpo (if the other girl is right) which way did you do the tests? Is left the first one you did or the right one? X

@Courtney Davis The left is the first one . I'm tempted to just test every day but it's driving me crazy so maybe I should just wait a week or so before I test again to see a more noticeable difference either way 🙈. I've been trying for this for so long x

I know how you feel girl, I was ttc for 3 years then when I did get pregnant I had a chemical. It was horrible! The Right test is darker than the middle and both the brands are probably different sensitivity so! I know it’s hard but I’d try not to worry! I had a really good progression with clear blue but a rubbish one with easy at home until much much later so I definitely would try not to worry at the moment girl! Keep us updated and if you wanna chat you know where I am!! X

Thank you! And it definitely is! Yeah I didn’t really talk to anyone about it, but people definitely need to normalise it as it’s the same as loosing a baby at any gestation tbh. It hurts just as much! Of course it is and yeah I used to run to my mum and I’m like you see the line and no one else could ever see it🤣 most definitely!🫶 good luck girl x

Hang on, on what grounds can a doctor say you are likely going to miscarry without doing any tests. You need two sets of beta HCG to suggest the pregnancy might not be viable, and then the follow up on that. At 9dpo you have a faint line on a strip which makes no suggestion of miscarriage. Wait for your bloods and go from there. I believe this person has caused you quite possibly unnecessary stress.

P.s you also have the worst tests on the planet for comparison! They confirm pregnancy and to see progression you really need to wait to test again and ensure it’s FMU x

@Yog he thinks I already have miscarried which was the 1 day bleeding and said I will probably still test positive for a while . He did say he's not used to positive results and wasn't 100% which didn't fill me with confidence . Oh no 🙈 which tests do you suggest I use ?

Jesus! Never heard of a chemical being 1 day worth of bleeding! I agree with the rubbish tests though haha! Tbh I’d get clear blue if you want good results! Or there’s the boots ones I like them x

I disagree. He can’t diagnose this mate. You can bleed. There are little pockets of blood that can release and baby is fine. If you were miscarrying you’d continue to bleed most likely and HCG would be eliminating by 50% daily. You might miscarry like anyone can, but not because this guy says you are. He’s wrong to tell you this. How are the tests going now? You would have been about 10dpo on your first test and your ones should look a little bit darker now? Have you had your HCG bloods back yet? X

Still testing postitive but I wouldn't say the lines are getting darker each day ,hoping it's because the tests are not good 🤞. Bloods are coming back after 3pm tomorrow but tbh I think they have only tested for thyroid,iron etc so I'm not expecting them to come back with anything 🙄 longest wait of my life .

Hang on, they haven’t tested for HCG? Are you kidding? He’s told you he thinks you are miscarrying and he hasn’t ordered HCG to be tracked? I’m honestly in complete shock. I think you are 12dpo now? That’s earlier to see a ton of progression, especially on the tests you have. Tests aren’t made for comparison but I’d expect to see a difference once further along. There’s no way that doctor or anyone else can diagnose miscarriage from what you have posted in here. You need beta HCG doing.

@Yog tbh, I rang up when I thought I was having a chemical last time (I was) and they wouldn’t do hcg!

@Courtney Davis but he’s diagnosed without testing. It’s outrageous. So he gives you this information and you go home to worry? Without any testing? He could be right, but the point is he hasn’t tested you to make that call. Have your tests got lighter? x

Wait aren’t these tests backwards? Normally the control line is on the right side and the test line is on the left so they look like dye stealers. That’s so weird. I’m so sorry girl, I had a chemical last year and it’s actually horrible as you spent the last few days doing tests now knowing and hoping and then that, I’m sorry if you need anyone to talk to I’m here for you😭🫶

Not all bleeding is a negative but I guess all you can do is wait if you don’t have access to further healthcare. Let us know how you get on, thinking of you.
