Hi! Momma of a Beardie for 5 years, you might be able to tell at that age by shining a light on their bottom back and looking on the other side, the boys have two hemipenal bulges and the girls have one. When they get older you can tell easier by just looking at their under tail without a flashlight, the bulges will be easier to see when they are bigger.
Here’s a link for what Ruby is talking about https://www.wikihow.com/Tell-the-Sex-of-a-Bearded-Dragon
@Ruby one is definitely bigger then the other
Yes it looks like the one on the right is bigger for sure but the only definite way to tell the gender this early would be the flashlight test, that link Nicole sent shows you how to do it 😊
With my beardie Tobi, she was very big and aggressive with other beardies and I thought for sure she was a boy (hence the name Toby) but when she was fully grown she was clearly a girl lol but she’ll always be my tobikins 😆
Just a btw - beardies can not share a tank. They are solitary animals, and only come together to mate! ( weird cause they sell them in all one tank, but it will become a big issue once they start growing.) They also will need LOT’s of space. So times that by 2 as each one will soon need their own tank❤️
Great choice! Love them! You won’t be able to tell their gender for a little while. As they grow the males heads are larger and more colorful under the neck. They are generally larger as well.
