My MIL is always in and out of hospital and she always requests to see the LO and I always say no because I don’t want to take my baby into a hospital for no reason.
She’s always in and out and it’s the same every time she’s always like are you bringing the baby up to see me. Baring in mind when she’s home I don’t hear from her and never get a request to bring the baby over to see her so I find it very bizarre it’s always a request when she’s in hospital. I’ve made it very clear we will not be going but I have no issues taking her over to the house when she’s home. I just sometimes think she does it because she knows I’ll say no and she wants to make me look bad.

I don’t think there’s much you can do tbh. You’ve said what you’re happy with and what you’re not happy with, not sure what more you can do. Maybe next time she asks if you’re taking your baby to the hospital just say, no but we will come and see you when you’re back at home so let me know when you’re back and we’ll come round. I’m sure you’ve done that though. Just let her get on with it
There’s usually rules on taking children into hospital too for visits. It’s often over 12yo only x
