Movement patterns (anterior placenta)

I’m 23+4 with an anterior placenta and feel movements and kicks almost everyday, but some days he’s quiet and I don’t feel him as much. Anyone else the same?

Yes! I'm 23 + 4 also. He was dead active last night and all day and even seen him move on the outside. But today felt him a little but feel weaker than the past couple of days..

@Elizabeth due date twins! Why’s it so stressful 😩

Hey when I was pregnant with my daughter. Some days she’ll be very active and some days she wouldn’t. Just like us they might just want a ‘lazy day’ but if you’re worried about movements or anything at all please go triage just to reassure you. I went there about 2/3 times as I couldn’t feel her move for a day or hardly move at all. I’m sure that little bubs is perfectly fine and relaxed!!! Also if you’re busy there’s a chance that you might not feel them move - I know this as I was working up till 3 days before birth 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

@Ange thank you! I had a midwife appointment yesterday and heartbeat was all fine so I’m sure he’s well! I’m a PT so on my feet most of the day so that makes sense haha, thanks again x

I also have an anterior placenta and up until 30 weeks I couldn't figure out a pattern. My midwife said if it gets to a certain time and you think "i would of normal felt movements by now" get checked out but it isn't unusual to not feel them as much at your gestation. But if in doubt always get checked out, I'm 34 weeks now and feel every single movement, So further on you will feel and see movements more often xx

I’m 36 weeks and he has been a pain in the but since about 24 weeks try and find a pattern however my lad never has a pattern so I just end up in triage most weeks on his quiet days. I did find around the 30 week mark the movements were a lot stronger and frequent so it was easier to tell if he was doing well, I tend to find he is super active 4 days out of 7 but this is not the pattern I was hoping for 😂 get this child out of me 😫 after another triage session today for reduced movement! You got this mama these anterior placentas are a pain!!! Xxx

Can’t help with the question but I’m 17 weeks and have found out I’ve got an anterior placenta. When did you all start feeling movements? X

@Charlotte I started feeling little pops around 17/18 weeks I think, only occasionally though so I was never sure if it was him. I started to feel kicks at around 20 and from 21-ish my partner could feel them too :) I’ve heard it’s different for everyone though and some women will feel earlier and some later x
