We’ve moved our changing station to next to the radiator downstairs and we use a warm towel on our changing mat. Seems to have worked well as it was just my baby being sassy and wanting to be warm (the house is a steady 21’c for reference, bring on the summer already 😅😂)
Just be quick i don't bother with anything special just have wet wipes, and nappy ready so it's a quick 1 minuet process I find my little one hate his feet being out so I just make sure his feet get covered back up ASAP. Also I only really keep him in sleepsuits and vests so there's no messing on with outfits ( some can be a pain in the arse to get to a babies nappy ) also try to mostly use the zip sleepsuits so make it easier as poppers can take some time especially when baby is kicking
Baby wipe warmer. Doesn't stop the crying but it helps alot. Sounds daft but it's helped us
I think that’s very normal. My baby absolutely hated it and then all of a sudden he’s totally chill with it, he’s 6.5 weeks old now and he became chill with it about 1 week ago lol! He never cries with it anymore
My boy is exactly the same! He’s 2 weeks old and does not approve of nappy changes😂
Mines 3 weeks and HATES being naked! It’s the only time he really really cries. I keep bath times few and far between (every 3 days or so) and I tend to keep him in the same sleep suit for a day or two before changing his clothes again (if they aren’t dirty) but I think it’s just one of those things! I think for my boy he feels insecure and it’s like his startle reflex kicks in because he throws his arms out like he’s about to be dropped even though he’s on the changing mat or the sofa
