How long did your nausea last?

Can you tell me how long your nausea lasted. I’m on 6w+3 and already struggling to cope 🥹 I’m self employed and I literally can’t get anything done I’m really worrying!

Not trynna scare you but mine lasted the whole first trimester, hated it . Ginger shots worked amazing for me

my nausea lasted until 20 weeks and after that i had it on and off x

Whole first trimester and all the way up to 24 weeks x

Mine was constant up until about 18 weeks then had it on and off and still had random dry heaving episodes at 27 weeks for literally no reason 😅 like others have said, you will learn to cope and get used to it to some degree. I was eating every hour and a half in the first trimester even if it was just a mouthful, don’t let your stomach get empty as that’ll make it worse and anything lemon helped me too, was drinking lemon water all day long

It's awful I had to all the way through. Try Eating first thing and little and often. Try gp for anti sickness meds.

I went to the doctors with my sickness and they gave me anti sickness tablets and they were amazing! It was called cyclizine and stopped pretty much straight away x

I’m almost 17 weeks and unfortunately still have it, although it’s definitely not as bad as it was in the first trimester. I’ve found working from my bed/the sofa earlier in the day helps, showering later in the day, and eating little and often. I always have crackers and ginger biscuits on hand to help. Try not to get hungry because it makes it so much worse. I really sympathise because it’s rough but as others have said you can get medicine from the doctors if you’re struggling

Till about 16 weeks then came back for the 3rd trimester, I’m 38 weeks now and still struggling. I’ve probably only been physically sick 20 times or so though

I was sick till about 16-18 weeks, then it stopped, and then I had occasional nausea. My second, I was nauseas till about the third trimester but I also had an overactive thyroid so that contributed.

Up until 24/25 weeks for me x

After a week of vomiting 10- 14 times a day and not being able to keep food or drink down. I went to A&E about it. In a week I had lost 7lbs (half a stone) They said that if I were to lose a stone or more in the next two weeks I would have been hospitalised. It can be very serious if you start to lose weight fast when being sick during pregnancy. If you are worried about it, go to your local A&E, tell them what is happening and that you are scared/worried. They will keep an eye on you. They gave me an antisickness injection and then asked me to eat some toast and a yogurt and drink a hot chocolate - and be able to keep it all down before they'd let me go home. they sent me home with 2 weeks worth of anti sickness tablets. After 4 days the sickness had completely stopped. If you're worried, or are not able to do anything or keep anything down. Please don't leave it to chance... get checked out xx

Mine lasted up until 22 weeks but my sister in law has been sick the whole way through. But we both had/have HG, may be worth asking for anti sickness tablets. They don’t completely stop the sickness but it helps x

Until I delivered her Was non stop

The whole pregnancy

Mine lasted till 16 weeks. Was vomiting & nauseous. Had HG. It has calmed down a lot now and I can get back to work. I’m on ondansetron tablets xx

Almost 18 weeks, Still here on the antisickness

Mine lasted from 6 to 14 weeks. Even then I’d still very occasionally get bouts of nausea, especially in my third trimester

Mine last till about 15 weeks and it’s still on and off now, tea and shortbread seem to be the things that kick mine off 🙃 you will learn to cope though 😌
