I’m struggling too.
Same here. During the day it's fine but come midnight its chaotic and I can't put him down
I'm really struggling. The best advice I've been given if you have a support network is to use them!! Don't feel guilty or like you aren't doing enough because I guarantee you are, but if you have someone who can take baby for a couple of hours in the day that will really help you. Get as much rest as you can, while you can. It will get easier. Every 2 weeks gets better, the challenges of the week before become a new skill for both you and baby.
Dont compare yourself to others, other babies can be more calm or others can have more help and you never will know that, my little one is nearly 2 weeks i only can do all this because my husband is taking care of cleaning and my mum comes to help and always ready to come in emergency. You just take your time, take naps with baby, try maybe different formula so baby will be full and will need to be fed every 3h. You got it, it will get easier x
It gets easier around 3 to 4 months, where is your partner? Me and my partner split shifts for example I will sleep in another bedroom from 10 PM to 3 AM and then he takes over from 3 AM to 8 AM the next day. Of course we can’t do this all the time because he has to work but on the weekends we do those split Shifts. If you have to contact sleep with him, do it just to get some rest as well!
