It’s normal, it’s not about getting much food in them as milk is their main nutrition it’s more about just introducing the food and allowing them to play with it and taste. Don’t be surprised if you’re only able to get a teaspoon full actually in them.
My baby is so keen for food but also spitting most out at the moment. It's part of the learning process, they have to learn to use their tongue to move things around their mouth. Just don't force it but keep providing them with the opportunity to learn 😊
I was just about to post a similar question. One week in and she’s not keen. I wonder if her tongue-thrust reflex hasn’t gone yet… I think it’s still good to give them something to taste, but yes my baby is also not keen on actually eating solids yet
