Brand new to this

Hi all, brand new to all this so have a couple of questions. I’ve been ovulation testing each day and it seems imminent from my test today. This is high and line looks darker than control. How do I know when my peak is?? Also from here, when should we be doing the deed? How long does it usually take from a high reading to egg release? Thanks so much xxx

Everyone’s different, but I reckon doing the deed the day of LH peak and the day after (usually ovulation) is crucial 😊 x

Would last night have been too early?

@Katie no way to know until you hit your peak. If it's within 4 days then last night would be just within the timeframe

Ok so tested again and it seems to be going down a bit so peak was the last reading earlier this afternoon 👏 Last night should count then. Might go for tomorrow too just to cover all bases

LH peaks just BEFORE ovulation so the darkest line means ovulation is imminent (within the next 12-24hours). It’s usually advised you TTC in the five days prior and up to one day after you see your peak as the sperm can stay alive up to five days inside our fallopian tubes.
