I’m struggling to interact with toddler

I’m using a tv a lot but I have nothing to give anymore. I am fed up of being a single mum - endless chores and the fact that everything is on me.

One thing that has helped me is just getting out the house, even if its going for a walk, to the shop or to the park. My LB is 14mo and I do struggle too sometimes. It is okay to put off some chores to the following day. Even if it is getting on the floor and chatting shit to your toddler, they love it

I understand how you feel as I’m a single mum as well. I just organised my week to have specific chores each day so I can actually relax as well and have time to play with my son. I downloaded a game for toddlers on my phone and we play a bit each morning when he comes in my bed (helps him learn colours, numbers, abcs, etc and I get a bit of a lay in). Try to find baby groups to take LO to. It was a lifesaver for me and they get to interact with other children and you might end up making some friends. I know it’s overwhelming at times but don’t be too hard on yourself because there’s only so much we can do when we don’t have anyone to rely on x

See what activities your local children centre has. It will get you out of the house and hopefully you will meet some nice mums.

This is me for the past week. I am guilty of it
