Potty training!..

Sounds way too soon I know!🙃😂 but hear me out! My little girl is 15 month old and for the past week at least every time she is going for a wee she’s stopping and holding her nappy and saying ‘wee uhoh’ and then carry on about her day 😂 the same when she has a poo, she stops and holds her nappy, tells me what she’s doing then goes and gets a nappy and brings it to me for me to change her. I don’t know whether it’s a good time to maybe get the potty out and explain what it is/what we use it for etc and get her use to it?

My son grabs his nappy when it's full too, and crawls to the stairs asking to be changed if it's a poo. The trickier bit is getting him to now that he needs to go! We are planning to start potty train over Christmas when we have a couple of weeks at home/no work.

It's never too soon. Just go for it, introduce her to it. It's a process.

Sounds like it's definitely worth trying! We started at 6 months and very rarely have a poopy nappy now. She signs to tell us she needs to go and sits on there quite happily ☺️ much easier to clean up too! 😂

Definitely not too soon were going to start potty training just after Christmas when the whole rush of everyone being around is over

Nice you have a clever girl showing signs early. I would get on it because I've read if you don't do it when they first show signs then it's much harder later as they get trained to still go in the nappy. Eric website has lots of good info which is all proven by research

My little girl is 16 months and does a wee in the potty don’t get me wrong don’t think she knows when it’s coming, she always wees when she gets out the bath so we sit her on the potty when she gets out the bath for 2 mins and she normally goes and she goes yay and claps and says wee wee bye when we flush it down and if I’m on the toilet she will come to me and try take her nappy off and say wee wee xx

Recommend "oh crap, potty training" book, I used the method with my first and he was toilet trained within a week (he was just over 2 at the time though)
