I don’t know if I’m working it out right but I’d say 38k divide by 12 divide by 40 then times that by 24 I think that’s how it would work out estimate anyways.
There’s a website that just does it for you, I’m terrible at maths😂

If you google pro rata salary calculator and put in what the full time salary is, how many hours a week full time is and how many you’ll be working it’ll calculate it for you for the tax year x
I used this one https://salarybot.co.uk/pro-rata-salary-calculator/ It tells you the full breakdown before and after tax x
It depends on whether they class full time as 40 hours, 37, or 37.5. For my company its 37.5 but if you use 40 as the worst cast scenario, then it will be at least £22,800
It would be about £1.9k per month before tax if it’s a 40 hour week on full time
