Does anyone know the sort of timeline for a frozen embryo transfer?
I’m trying to do it on a natural cycle, so have to email the clinic on day 1, then I’m not sure when I will need to have a scan etc. Anyone been though this? X
I’ve just done a natural cycle in Nov. So I let them know my day 1. Then I had a scan day 10 (could be between day 8-10) to check lining and see if there is a dominant follicle. If there isn’t they will get you back in every 2-3 days to keep checking. I ovulate day 19 so I had 4 scans. Once they see the follicle growing & are happy lining is over 7mm you’ll do home ovulation tests and inform them of your peak. Once you get peak your transfer will be 6 days later (some clinics do 7) depending on clinic they will then have an official test day by beta blood test or home test. Mine was a home test which was today (although I had been testing early) and got my positive. I’ve then been booked in for a scan to check viability.
I had to start progesterone 2 days before transfer.
@Danielle that’s really helpful, thank you so much. And congratulations x
