@Daniela I always have back up food like hot pockets or microwave rice so there’s definitely food for him to eat but I like to cook dinner as often as possible so he knows there’s a meal at home for him
Yes same I tried to be how I was before pregnancy but I also had so many food aversions I just gave up 🤭 But good luck in your pregnancy I hope you have a smooth one ☺️🩷
It was frozen meals and pizza for him because I refused to cook in my first trimester. Literally couldn’t stand being in the kitchen.
@Jay what gets me is my nausea is worse when I’m standing or around food I definitely do not want to eat so cooking for someone else sounds like hell😂
As supportive as he was I sent my husband off to his Mam’s a few times for her to feed him because I was so sick and food smells made it worse 😂 I’m starting to improve now and he acts like it’s Christmas whenever I cook a proper meal. At least he realised what he was missing!
I’ve been in bed for a month with this all day sickness. I don’t have the energy let alone open the fridge bc the minute I do I gag. I also have two kids so it’s been hard, my mom has been helping me with cooking, and also hubby and the kids have been eating out. It is only temp. And he should try to understand. Feel better soon!
I’m 16 weeks and just got out of my 1st trimester funk. It won’t last forever. Just reassure him that you’re trying your best and you won’t be like this forever. I have a 9 month old as well and I was not being my full energetic self with my baby either and I felt so bad. It’s just something you have to go through in pregnancy and hope everyone understands.
First trimester can be so tough. I don’t think you should feel guilty you’re growing a human inside of you and that takes a lot of energy (: Ps I didn’t do anything for my husband first trimester he also worked super long hours but I just talked to him and told him even though I wanted to, I couldn’t.
