Help!! Baby fell and I feel awful!!!!

6 mo fell off the bed when dad accidentally fell asleep with her on the edge, our bed is like a foot/foot and a half off the ground it’s really low down. She has her bottom two teeth and the top gum seems to have been cut (the top two are coming in rn) and she was bleeding. She has a bit of a bump on her head. She was crying but took her bottle and fell asleep and seems to be sleeping fine but I’m just panicking like should I go to a&e????? Do I call 111??? I feel like shit for sleeping when she fell and I know my partner does too I know babies fall but I suffer with severe anxiety especially post partum and my head is reeling!!! I keep thinking she has brain damage or blood pooling on the brain or she’s damaged her teeth and gums permanently somehow and I don’t know what to do???

I’m sure she is just fine ! As long as she was acting fine before she went to bed I would not worry about it . Babies fall from much higher places all the time and are just fine Trust me I was a pediatric nurse for 5 years ! Also people drop much smaller babies and they are okay ! They are a lot more durable than you would think !

Babies are definitely more durable than you think, but if getting her checked will help the two of you, then I do recommend that. You both being stressed isn't good for you or her. We see plenty of babies who've fallen in the ER (I'm an ER clerk). I don't think I've yet seen one come in that was injured besides the small bump on the head, but it is helpful to parents to have the reassurance many times. That being said, if she starts throwing up tonight or tomorrow, I'd get her checked to be safe.

My daughter fell from her high chair (about 3-3.5 feet) when she was about 4.5 months and I freaked out, calling my mother to take us to the ER and she ended up being totally fine. If she was acting like normal, her pupils are the same size, no vomiting or anything like that then you're baby is probably completely fine. That being said, if it will help your anxiety then definitely take her in to get checked. It never hurts to be safe, and being stressed isn't good for you or the baby.
