Yes, when they talk about soft cheeses, they don’t mean this kind. They mean oozy cheeses, like Brie, Camembert etc instead of something hard like a cheddar or Parmesan. Cream cheese like this is fine when pasteurised - I practically live off cream cheese and bagels.

So my understanding is yes, because it's not really cheese at all... apparently lol. But yes it's pasteurised. My understanding is by soft cheese it's things like brie etc. Just my take though :)
