Burping after feed in bed

My 13 week old is mostly a good burper after boob, sometimes he doesn't burp though. Sometimes when I feed him in bed and he falls asleep, I feel bad disturbing him for a burp. Do people burp their little ones each time? Or sometimes leave it if they're in a deep sleep straight off the boob?

I try to burp my LO each time but if I’m super tired and she finally falls asleep I’m not waking her up for a burp. Sometimes I just lay baby in upright position on my chest and rub the back a few times & usually the burp comes

If she's sleeping then she's comfortable. No burping needed! I only burp if baby is restless and seems uncomfortable. Breastfed babies don't need to be burped as much either, every baby is different though!

if they’re sleeping i leave it too x

I always go by the rule that if your LO has went into a deep sleep from feeding they’re comfortable and don’t have any burps to get up. I’d always leave my LO sleeping if it happened and she was fine x
