do you mean cradle cap? it’s very normal. don’t pick at it, you can gently wash/exfoliate and keep it moisturized with breast milk or coconut oil and it should go away on its own

@Izzie no because it doesn’t seem scaly or yellow at all like described online. Just dry flaky patches but I’ll still try those!

It’s cradle cap.. babies don’t really get dandruff that early on and will always look different but same form if that makes sense… I would recommend using a soft bristle baby brush with olive oil & warm water and use it on the scalp.. not only will it make the baby hair grow and super soft in the process but it will also remove the cradle cap you’re seeing

Yes cradle cap. My baby’s was white and a bit gross but I just used coconut oil and a silicon brush. I think I got it a Walmart. It was for like facial stuff? I can’t remember but I knew it was $4 and the one marketed to babies was way more. And a few weeks later it gradually got better. Trust the process. She’s still so tiny at 5 weeks. Mine is 11 months old now
