Relocation while Custody Battle

So I'm in a bit of a pickle, I have filed Divorce and Ex is requesting 50/50 with our son. However I have reason I don't want him to do this like our son will have zero stability moving houses every 2 days, but I do want to move to another state FL -MN. I just feel like if I filed paperwork I'm gonna get denied but I feel so alone in this state while my ex has family support. Any advice? I am talking to a lawyer but feel like they just want to do the minimum and get us to sign and not go thru the courts. Ugh. I want him to have our son during the summer and every holiday. I don't mind paying for the flights back to Florida. Any girls experience this? Or have any advice?? Please & Thank you

Do you have support or family in MN?

You will have to prove that it will make a substantial difference in your child’s life to move them from their other parent. He wouldn’t move houses every 2 days with 50/50. Do you realize how hard it will be on them to move away from their other parent that I’m assuming has been involved their whole life. Florida doesn’t do custody, they do time sharing. If you move Florida has jurisdiction so basically they could grant the relocation for you but your child would have to stay in Florida since they have jurisdiction you would essentially give up most rights.

Is his family involved with the child? Or would they claim to be? If so the court will never let you take the child out of state unless you can prove abuse

I am in the same situation but in another country. I finally filed for it and judge will decide. Fight for it!
