Baby weaning

My little one is 5 months old and we have started our weaning journey. She has a milk allergy and I would love to give her some baby porridge but a lot of them have milk powder in and we have been advised to keep away from dairy until she is 12 months old because she is on the up and we don’t want her to go back down again and start over. Anyone have any recommendations of baby porridge for milk allergies but that doesn’t have a lot of sugar in. Ella’s kitchen do one but there are so much sugars in them all. Help 🥺🥺

Just blitz up normal porridge oats and milk with formula/breast milk :)

Exactly what Katrina said, don’t waste your money on “baby porridge”😂

I buy a pack of organic oats from M&S and pop them in the blender dry, then mix 10g of the oat powder with 120ml of water in a pan, slowly heat it, add about 40g of banana or apple puree, dash of cinnamon too and it’s perfect. When baby can have nut butters (once introduced slowly) pop in some peanut butter or almond or cashew (we do all three so baby keeps exposure). Takes less than 10 mins and baby loves it x
