C section discomfort

For all my c section moms, when was it comfortable to wear normal pants again? I have been stuck in sweatpants since October and am starting to wonder if this is normal. Pants and jeans hurt, or make my skin feel like it’s burning, even yoga pants 🥲 I miss wearing normal clothes, but also wonder if I should advocate for myself with my doctor a bit if this is not normal

Didn’t start wearing normal pants until about 6 weeks pp

As in the skin around your incision or just anywhere the pants are touching? My pre pregnancy pants didn't fit comfortably until 5 weeks pp with my abdominal binder on. I just kept wearing my maternity jeans because the belly band was much more comfortable on the skin around my incision.

I just graduated back to thongs 6 weeks pp and still wearing sweatpants or leggings due to my pouch too despite losing like 20 lbs from breast feeding

I know that feeling! I am 6 weeks PP, wore jeans for the first time yesterday.

I wonder if my pouch is making it hurt more too! 6 weeks this week and tried wearing Halara “jeans” but my skin was burning and it was not comfy. But I have lost some weight and have a major apron belly happening for the first time

@Rachael give it some time mama! Maybe start with soft material like high waisted leggings. Those feel good! I wear high waisted undies too to cover the scar and above my belly a bit. One day at a time!
