It’s normal for them to spit up especially as newborns that’s how it was with my baby when he was a newborn and we combo fed. And yes !^^^ that’s the best time to pump when you give them formula and you can build your stash
We started combo feeding around this age and my supply eventually caught up. He still wants formula bottles, is currently 5 months, and we still give him at least two a day. One in the afternoon before a nap and then in the evening. The rest of the time he breastfeeds
Yeah I’m pumping but still dealing with a low supply my milk is still yellow also I’ve been using electric pump gna switch to manual as I heard it’s better with under supply & yeah I guess it’s spit up she does vomit occasionally tho
My baby won’t latch I wish I could breastfeed but I’m seeing a lactation consultant
@Chevonne I was exactly the same and eventually just gave up. I was pumping but I wasn’t eating and sleeping enough plus I found breastfeeding too uncomfortable so I just switched to formula. It’s a shame because I really wanted her to have my breast milk but I just wasn’t getting enough and one of my breasts barely produced anything
Are you pumping when you give bottles? The way I got my milk supply up was pumping until empty after every feed and then pumping for 15 minutes for every bottle of formula given. But now I'm dealing with an oversupply. Also, how much is coming up? Is it vomiting or just spitting up? Because it's common for babies to spit up after eating.
