Weaning while pregnant

Hi just looking for some advice regarding weaning my 16 month old whilst I’m currently 11 weeks pregnant 🤪😭 she is fed to sleep, won’t let anyone else put her to sleep or go to her when she wakes multiple times in the night (she just screams mummy boobie 🥲) and i honestly don’t know how to stop or if I’ll ever be able to stop of it continues like this

girl i’m in the same boat.i tried weaning my daughter and she became insufferable. I’m 25 weeks now and still haven’t found a way to wean her 😭

@sarah I think I’ve accepted I’m ok tandem feeding AS LONH AS she is night weaned / not fed to sleep 🤪

You may find it happens naturally. My lg naturally weaned herself around 16 weeks pregnant. Was sad it came to an end as was hoping to tandem feed but she just stopped and came for cuddles instead.

I agree with what Rachel said. Some kids don’t like the taste when your milk switches from the matured toddler breastmilk to producing colostrum for baby and will naturally wean themselves. Otherwise, consistency is key. Don’t offer the breast at all at nighttime, even if it means several sleepless nights while toddler learns how to go to sleep without nursing.
