Starting IVF Stims

Hi ladies, I had my down regulation injection last month and I am about to start my stims injections in two days. I am excited to start this journey but also anxious. I have PCOS and I’m anxious about OHSS. Do you have any advice you could offer me on what I should/shouldn’t be doing/eating etc? I have been doing tons of research but it would be great to hear from women who have been on this journey or going through it 🙏🏽

Sending you lots of luck - no real advice but I have PCOS and ended up with 30 eggs collected and OHSS. I felt absolutely ropey as hell for about a week but looking back wasn’t too awful in the grand scheme of things. I ended up having a freeze all cycle because of it which I was upset about at the time but I ended up with 2 babies so can’t complain!

@Charlotte Awh I’m so glad it worked out for you!

Hey! I have PCOS and Endometriosis, collected 17 eggs, didn’t develop OHSS (so there’s hope) and have a little girl. Not much of an advice on what you should or shouldn’t do as your body will do what it wants to. Stay active, even just little walks here and there make a difference both physically and mentally; don’t suddenly deprive yourself from foods just try to be healthy as much as you can. It’s a hard process as it is, not helpful to add any extra pressure on yourself. Just relax, be kind to yourself and try to see the positive even in the downs. Blowing lots of baby dust your way🤞🏽
