Liquid vitamins

My in laws keep trying to force me to give my son liquid vitamins but i personally think natural is better? Like he eats his fruits and veggies and ill even blend some veggies in his food for an extra boost, ill give him like fruit and veggies into a smoothie or homemade juice. Of course theres a balance i dont force him to eat healthy every day but are liquid vitamins necessary? My son is 2 years old by the way

My kids eat fruits and veggies too, but I still give them vitamins. They are now 5 &3, been giving them for a year now. It's all up to you

yep. a multivitamin is always necessary. & there are a lot of brands out there that are natural & plant based vs synthetic. it’s not possible to get the amount of vitamins & minerals needed a day by just eating fruits & veggies alone. especially if he’s not eating healthy every day. vitamins, minerals & diet are super important for their development & immune systems. & are just needed by humans in general to stay healthy.✨

Speak with your pediatrician love. My kids have a high diet of fruits and veggies so theirs decided against vitamins since they already have a high intake of natural vitamins. It’s your child advocate for them. Speak with their doctors and a nutritionist about if adding vitamins to their diet would be suitable for them 😊

Yes you should be giving your child a multivitamin every single day!

@Kellie i think it’s only liquid vitamins with that ingredient that would have that effect 😅 liquid vitamins are actually better absorbed by the body vs gummies or tablets. there’s a brand called Earthley that’s really good because it’s made from organic herbs & nothing else.

@Nestlē yes obv and I’m just letting mums know. I’ve learnt something, I’ll pass it on. 💁🏻‍♀️

@Nestlē thanks for the recommendation though I’ll have a look

A multi vitamin is so essential. Its so hard to get all of your vitamins in, even as an adult let alone a toddler

I give my son a multivitamin as well. He eats a lot of different foods and it’s generally picky but he does have days he doesn’t want to eat as much so it’s just a back up. Even in adults with a balanced diet there’s just some stuff you might not get enough of. And for the most part anything not needing is passed as waste. But def talk to your ped. Our recommended one because he was a preemie
