What you are getting is probably way more common than those with really long stretches. It's normal for babies to wake a few times when they are still so little. And as Sofi is experiencing too the sleep regression is hitting for loads of babies and then it all goes to pot. From my experience and what I've read 3-6 months is the hardest for sleep, at 6 months only 1 or no wake ups is way more common and they start doing long naps in the day. I managed to get through it with my first so I know it's possible. It's a bitch though!! You will get there, it's amazing how adaptable we are when we need to be.
My baby boy is still waking every 2-3 hours. Also occasionally get 5 hours at the beginning of the night so right there with you.
Last night from 11pm - 6am I had 5 wake ups (she’s 3 months old tomorrow). She hasn’t really done any chunks over 4 hours but my son was the same. He’s 18 months old now and has been solidly sleeping through the night (which I never thought he would) since 14 months old. We will sleep again 🤗
Terrible sleeper over here 🙋🏼♀️ my 12 week son won’t have a solid chuck of sleep till like 4am then about 5 hours 😂 you are not alone xx
Im here with you - so tired and so jealous. My 11 week old does a 4-6 hour stint at the beginning of the night sometimes then 2-3 hourly after that and has never slept more than that. It's so draining. I honestly Day dream about going to bed and not being woken up for the whole night. But this last week he has been waking every 45-1 hour and that is much worse 😰😰 so just take the 2-3 hourly as a win for now! Sleep regression might be round the corner... But just think how quickly these 3 months have gone in another 3 months sleep will probably be loads better and then by time it gets to the summer they'll be a completely different baby. That's what I keep telling myself - even though it's so hard now and the sleep deprivation is killing me in 6 months time I'll probably wish I was back here where he was small and we will sleep again just gotta hang in there xx
