Does anyone do the boots recycling?

I’m not sure if you’ve done it already, however it is on the beauty part! You upload your items on the boots recycle app, scan the qr code on the bin, tap which you’d like to recycle and then you’ll get a code you can use it straight away, but you only have 2 hours to use it once you activate it and it add £5 to your boots card when you spend over £10 on item x

Can you take your items and not activate the code? And do it next time you’re shopping or does it need activating straight away to work? Xx

I think you get a few days, but I’m not 100% as I only take them as I go shopping x
