Cold temperatures

Hi mom's, I have not been here in a while but I hope everyone is doing well ! My LO is currently in daycare he started in August and I have had a couple of problems/concerns with the daycare but nothing major. Currently I had a discussion with one of the educators, because it's extremely cold (I'm in Ontario) but my Lo still doesn't understand that he needs gloves, he won't wear them he will keep taking them off regardless of the effort I try to keep them one while his with us that same goes for Hat, he will keep a hat on longer than gloves ... O picked him up various times from daycare and his screaming and crying because his hands a frozen, they are completely red and he can't move them.. I ask the educators why can't they go inside because his not the only one crying and expressing coldness. They Insist they have to stay outside. I sent an email to the daycare expressing my concerns but I feel I'm at a lost. How is everyone dealing with the cold and their LO not wanting to wear gloves?

Do you know how long they are out for and what are the temperatures? I’m in Alberta. My guy is in a dayhome and they go outside everyday (unless weather is dangerous) but sometimes that is just 10 minutes if it is cold. But even when it is below freezing they’ll still go out. I like the Kombi infant mitts that don’t have a thumb hole. They sinch up in the middle to stay on better

@Jayden they go outside for 1 hour straight twice a day, one in the morning and another one at 4pm .. I'll have to see if he will keep those on

@Karen Paola Hernandez yeah it is frustrating that that is rigid. It definitely needs to be fliexible / weather dependent
