I’m an idiot

Gosh. I feel so dumb. I was warming up my coffee in the microwave and my bf came thru and asked me why I put that yeti in the microwave? I said I always do? He said no. That’s probably why our other microwave just took a crap. Like I legit thought it was only foil to not put in the microwave. Like I said I feel so dumb! Something I should’ve known better. I really hope the new microwave isn’t bad because that would not be good. Now I’m on edge hoping it doesn’t screw up.

Also watch the holiday paper plates! Any of them that have the shiny embellishments have metal and will spark/catch fire in a microwave!

I did that with a metal lined coffee cup when I was like 12... Caught the whole microwave on fire... My parents had had that microwave since they had gotten married in the late 80s 🤦🏻‍♀️

It’s kinda embarrassing for me cuz like I said I should’ve known better. Hopefully it didn’t do damage I’m kinda tripping about it if I’m honest

I learned that lesson when my brother and I were like 8 and he put a fork in the microwave and it darn near exploded

You CAN warm coffee in a microwave I do it all the time…just not in a Yeti 😂 pour it over to another microwave-safe cup like glass or ceramic and it’ll be good. And y’know what, don’t feel bad, we don’t know everything. But when we know better, we do better. At least now you know what you can do to help this microwave not shit itself Xx
