Nutritious food

My little girl just turned 2 luckily enjoys fruit and veg and eats a lot of both but I want to make sure she’s getting a good mix of carbs/fibre/calcium and a mix of everything. My problem is she eats whatever I do but I only eat beef I don’t eat meat often so probably not getting her to eat as much as she should. How do you make sure your child’s diet is balanced and getting enough of everything?

Following! Same here I’m not a vegetarian but I just don’t eat meat that often, I eat fish and so does my 1 year old along with a well balanced diet. I’d like to see how others are giving meat :) x

i try and make sure every meal has a protein, healthy fat and fiber/carb. we’re also starting multivitamins because my daughter doesn’t drink milk and needs the vitamin d and calcium

Carbs and fibre come from vegetables so if she eats lots of those you’re good, calcium- yogurt, cheese, milk, tofu, veg. For protein if you don’t eat lots of meat just serve variety of legumes, beans, chickpeas, lentils, tofu

And eggs 🙂
