Pregnant or not?

I will start off by saying I have PCOS. I haven’t had a period since October. My cycles have been pretty regular all year long. I use the app Flo which is pretty good at predicting when my period will start. I was supposed to get it at the end of November. So according to the app, I am 2-3 weeks late. I am experiencing a lot of the early pregnancy symptoms; nausea (no vomiting so far), fatigue, loss of appetite with weight loss, mood swings. The first day of my missed period I took a test; it was negative. 2 days later I took another; also negative. Unfortunately, I am a Dr. Google, so I keep researching my symptoms and scaring myself. Diabetes and heart attack are some things I’ve stumbled upon. I have a appointment with my PCP Dec 17 but I am so anxious waiting until then. Any tips on what I should do? Are false negatives possible with PCOS? Any opinions welcome

Ovasitol, it saved my mental and gave me regular periods !

Have you tried doing another test recently? Also, are you using the first urine of the day? I wouldnt worry right now, it could just be the PCOS because irregular periods, mood swings and fatigue are all common when it is not under control. In a very small number of cases you can get false negatives with ectopic pregnancies as the hCG hormone doesnt increase enough so it is worth going to your GP if the test continues to be negative when using concentrated first urine of the day to test.

@Bianca I take metformin which has done great for me 😊

@Shiv hi, I just did another test which is a week after my last one I did. It was also negative. I take metformin which regulates my cycles and I don’t ever remember being this miserable whenever I’d miss a period due to PCOS 😩

I would personally go to my GP now about this and see what options there are to look into it further. But I would try not to mention the PCOS because if you do they will jump on that as an easy explanation. Id just say youve missed your period and youve done several tests all negative and having x y z symptoms what can they do to see whats going on
