What toddler formula do you recommend?

My son has been only breastfeed and I have try to give him formula but it would be really rare when he would drink it. Now that he’s 1 year old I bought Nido. At first he drink it with no problem but now he refuses and doesn’t not want to take the bottle. What other formula do you recommend? I’m trying to stop breastfeeding but is making it impossible if he doesn’t want to take any formula and his pediatrician told me to not give him any whole milk until 2 years old

Why not whole milk until 2? I wouldn’t do any formula. Because you’ll have to wean them on and off of it. At this point there’s no point to do it. They’re eating solids so just do milk. Idk why he wouldn’t be able to do cows milk unless he has an allergy or actual issues he would totally be fine with it. And if it is an allergy then do like oat or almond milk. But I’d switch to those instead of formula. Formula can be very expensive and you don’t want to wean to that and bottles with you can just go to milk and sippy cups

Yeah no milk until 2 is nuts. Babies should be having milk once they turn 1 and you should be weaning off formula. My daughter is 13 months and I was told to start introducing milk when she was 1 but she has a severe protein allergy so she’s still on her hypoallergenic formula until she gets allergy tested. Put whole milk in a sippy cup without a nipple. Do a flat no spill one from Walmart. Worked perfect for my daughter, so easy for them to figure out

Agree with all of the above. After 1 you can do up to 24oz a day of whole milk so I would just mix it with breast milk if you’re pumping. If you’re set on formula, the only formula my breast milk baby would take is Kendamil.

@Gabrielle that what I thought that she will tell me to start with whole milk but when I ask her about how many onces he has to take, she told me to not give him any whole milk since they have notices that when they introduce them to milk before 2 years old they experience issues. So that’s why I haven’t introduced any whole milk and I bought Nido as she told me

Interesting maybe just try oat milk. That’s what we’ve been using
