Do you take baby food shopping?

How do you do it? Baby wear or use one of those trolleys with the baby seat on? I don’t know if she will be able to sit up in trolley as she’s 5m and not sitting unaided.

I just do small basket shops when I’m on my own with her and I keep her in the pram and we do our big food shops when my boyfriend is off work and we can all go together so one has the pram and one has the trolley. But following in case anyone has any better ideas 😅 x

My 4 month old loves the baby seat. He can see the world and I use it as the perfect sensory experience for him 😂😂😂

I’m a single mum and my local supermarket doesn’t have any baby seat trolleys so I keep her in the car seat and put that in the trolley and then put the food in around her 😂 she loves it 🙈

We have trolleys that hold the car seat. Sainsburys and Aldi both have them x

I tend to do a quick shop for a few days at a time and use the bottom of the pram to hold the items 👍🏻

As I have a 2yo as well, I found it so stressful I switched supermarket and went to deliveries 😂 if it's baby on his own and I go, I baby wear, he likes to be up and see things x

I usually wait till my partners finished work and go after or on the weekend because it’s just easier!

I baby wear and he always naps but I think I will try the baby seat on trolley next time! He'll enjoy that 😁

My LO loves the baskets that can have the car seat. He loves being high up and looking around! ❤️ And makes me feel good to be able to do one of the big jobs that need to get done every week!

I’ve tried most options. - The trolleys that allow you to put the car seat on top are a nightmare IMO. You can’t see over the top or around so you’re pushing a trolley blind. - the ones with the seats in, are usually a bit grimey and very slippery. They didn’t feel suitable for young babies so we reverted on that option. - baby wearing works nicely ✅ - pushchair whilst dragging one of those baskets on wheels behind also seems to work okay ✅ Otherwise it’s home deliveries or leave husband or family member at home with baby and have a little moment to yourself whilst shopping.

I either put car seat in a small trolley if I’m not going for a big shop or if I’m getting a load of stuff she will be in her pram and i use the underneath for all the shopping. She loves being in the shops x

I shop for 3-4 days at a time and use the basket at the bottom of pram ☺️x

I go shopping when my husband isn’t working so I either go on my own or we all go together and baby stays in her pushchair. Haven’t yet used the trolley with baby seat yet but will if I start going shopping on my own. I’ll just wipe it over with a Milton wipe first then put a blanket down under her as I’ve seen a few people do that Otherwise baby wear

I get deliveries mostly for food shopping. But when I ‘nip’ to home bargains for one thing and end up with 60, I just use the pram and struggle with a basket kicking it along the floor when it’s too heavy lol. X

I usually do light shopping when I’m on my own so I can put stuff in the buggy basket and light stuff like bread etc next to the baby and wait with the weekly shop for the weekend and go with my partner or go alone and partner stays with baby xx

I put the baby in a baby seat trolley, usually place a muslin or blanket under her. First few times I found it really hard but now I’m used to it and she loves coming and looking around

I do my full weekly food shop baby wearing, just plan it around her nap time so she's a happy girly x

Online shopping only! But never use the pram, just the sling so far

Delivery, same time every week. Done it for a few years now and don’t think I’ll ever go back. I tried after baby had been born thinking I’d give it a go now we don’t have work etc with me being on mat leave. Was an hour out of my day, stressful, bought more than I needed and spent more than necessary. Baby was pissed off, I was pissed off, I lost my car keys on the way round. Back to deliveries after that 😂. But I tried with a carrier (that’s when I lost the keys). And I tried a special car seat trolly, so the car seat goes on top of the trolley, it was heavy and I couldn’t see over it so just kept nearly ramming people

Baby carrier since birth for shopping. As he got older and had set nap times, I plan the weekly shop for during one of his naps so he falls asleep within about 10mins. Single mom and home delivery I tried once and hated it. If we have alot on during the week I do click and collect but I like to walk around the supermarket because I'm wierd 🤣
