Early gender scan

I have booked an early gender scan for tomorrow and now I’m worried how accurate it will be. Was your early scan correct?

How early is it?

Anything over 15 weeks (16 is better) is pretty accurate but like everything there’s always a margin for error

16 and a few days 🤞🤞

We had a scan at 15 weeks and were told a girl, double checked at our 20 week scan and 4d scan and agreed still a girl!

You’ll be fine at 16 weeks x

Ooo how exciting to find out tomorrow! I was the same I had an early scan at 16weeks was told boy, I checked at the 20week scan they said the same thing! X

I had mine at 16 weeks and it was right, she said there was no denying he was a boy as he was eager to show his bits. It all depends on how the baby responds and where you go for the scan, also how far along you are. The place I went won’t scan you for a gender scan before 16 weeks

First pregnancy I was 16 weeks and second pregnancy I was 15 weeks and 6 days. Both times it's been accurate, but they have both been boys and it's extremely obvious even to us that they were boys 😅

Thank you everyone, making me feel slightly less anxious 😬❤️

Yes they told me at 16 weeks he was a boy and they were right! Depends on baby’s angle and I think it’s easier to tell if it’s a boy

My scan at 16 weeks was accurate

I did a blood test then went to a boutique ultrasound place at almost 13 weeks and they could tell it was a boy before I said anything.

Mine was wrong at 20 weeks 🙃

i was 16 weeks exactly when i had my early gender scan they had mine correct as 5 weeks later nhs told me the same gender. and i’ve had a 4d at 27 weeks scan which they confirmed again xx
