Silicone frida mom patches

I'm 14 weeks pp from emergency c section. My wound opened up and only closed about 2 weeks ago (still s tiny bit scabby on that bit). Can I start using the patches? Also what do they actually do and how do they actually work? Anyone else used them? How long do you keep them on?
