‘Childcare choices’??

Has anyone signed up for this, the lady at my little boys nursery told me quite quickly on the way out of picking him up today about this on HMRC and she said it could save me some money as I’m paying his nursery fees atm until he turns 3. Tried to look online but can’t find anything at all about it???

I use tax-free childcare that saves me some money but never heard of childcare choices

I think childcare choices is the UK governments website. In Scotland if you’re not receiving benefits the only support you will get towards funding is the tax free childcare which is a UK government initiative and the 30 funded hours at age 3. The UK government gave Scotland funds to expand this to 9 month olds for working parents but unfortunately our government have decided to spend this on other things. In Scotland if you are on benefits you can get a percentage of your childcare costs paid for if your child is under 3. The childcare choices website just lets you know what support is available in your area depending on your circumstances. X
