I think childcare choices is the UK governments website. In Scotland if you’re not receiving benefits the only support you will get towards funding is the tax free childcare which is a UK government initiative and the 30 funded hours at age 3. The UK government gave Scotland funds to expand this to 9 month olds for working parents but unfortunately our government have decided to spend this on other things. In Scotland if you are on benefits you can get a percentage of your childcare costs paid for if your child is under 3. The childcare choices website just lets you know what support is available in your area depending on your circumstances. X
