Cabbage is low calorie depending on how you prepare it, which makes it good for weight loss- the problem with it is it doesn't have a lot of nutrients. It has some vitamin c... I'm not saying don't eat it, but don't make it your staple. A better option would be a spring mixed salad (with kale and spinach). That salad mix is packed full of nutrients and low calorie. (I know you didn't ask for that info, but I just don't like seeing people try to lose won't and then they lose nutrients too.)

Dont have a specific recipe but i lived off of cabbage garlic stifry while losing weight 😋

Where I come from he have something called „Krautfleckerl“ it’s a cabbage pasta dish. You could try it with some whole grain pasta

Cabbage “steak” it’s just sliced cabbage with whatever seasonings you like and baked till soft and slightly crispy on the sides. My kids love it with some wild rice on the side.

Pancit! It’s a Filipino dish that I grew up with and adding it to my weekly menu has helped my husband lose weight. It’s delicious and packed with all the good stuff! 1. In a large pot, heat avocado oil or olive oil. Cook 2-4 chicken breasts in soy sauce and black pepper. 2. Chop 1 head of cabbage, 1 onion, 3 ribs of celery, and 3 carrots. Mince lots of garlic. 3. Remove chicken breast to shred it or cut into small pieces. Sauté onions and garlic for a couple of minutes. 4. Add carrots to the pot. Once the carrots are soft, add the celery and cabbage. Add the chicken. 5. Stir in 2-3 cups of low sodium chicken or beef broth. Add more soy sauce to taste, about 1/4 cup. 6. Soak vermicelli rice noodles in a bowl of lukewarm water for 10 minutes. Add noodles into the pot but stir as you go to measure how much you need. I usually use 2/3 of a pack. 7. Top with fresh juice of 1 lemon. Ingredients: Noodles Chicken Cabbage Celery Carrots Onion Garlic Lemon Broth Soy sauce Oil

My husband and I can eat half the pot in one night so we save the rest for meal prep. It doesn’t last long though because it’s so good. I like to serve it as a “bowl dinner” and don’t have a side with it.
