I'm sorry for your loss. Did you have a negative pregnancy test between miscarrying and taking these? If so, they will be true positives. This happened to me in January - I tested positive a month to the day after having a miscarriage, and that baby is now 10 weeks old.

Looks positive! I had a miscarriage 30th October amd still yet to have a period. Tested this morning and negative

@Jude I haven't taken a test since, honestly. Not until today, I guess i was just waiting for my period to come to see when I can start tracking my ovulation days.

@M I'm sorry 😞 I looked it up on Google and it says that your period could come anywhere from 2 months to several months after depending on how far along you were. I was 6 weeks when I had a miscarriage.

@Neisa, thank you. Im just confused, I guess. Google says that it could be hormones from my previous pregnancy. I just dont want to stress and don't really have anyone to talk to about it. Last time I told some family members and then miscarried a week later so it's super depressing

If you had a negative test after your miscarriage then these are certainly positives. However, if you didn’t test to see if your hcg dropped completely, it could still be left over. My first miscarriage, I still had a positive test for almost a month and a half after because my levels were dropping very slowly. I also didn’t get my period until almost two months after. Also, if you haven’t gotten your period since the miscarriage, it can definitely be left over. A few things to consider!

@Ashley thank you , I guess I was just in denial bc when I went to the hospital when I had my miscarriage ( I had taken a test the day before and it was positive) the doctor was telling me that most likely the test I took was the last bit of my hormones leaving my body bc when I tested at the hospital he said it was an 8 (idk if it is like .8 or .08- idk how it goes) and me being so early on in my pregnancy it should have been in the thousands. I guess that's why I didn't take another test bc I was so upset 😕

That makes a lot of sense. I mean you never know! These could very well be positives but if you haven’t gotten your period yet, it makes me wonder it could be left over. But then again, pregnancy math is wild and the unexpected has and can happen.

My dr told me that left over hcg can hang around for 6 to 9 weeks but those are some pretty strong positive results. I'd say ur pregnant again! Congratulations!

I kept testing after my miscarriage and it didn’t take long for the hcg to get out of my system. To me this definitely looks like a positive especially with it being so dark. If it was left over it would be wayyy lighter
