Same and it’s the worst so I avoid detangling which only makes it worse and dryer. It feels like it’s shedding like crazy and I definitely have some thin/missing patches on the sides 😭.
I started brushing my hair in the shower with the conditioner before rinsing it out - it’s made it a little easier to detangle once I’m actually out of the shower. And then I’ve also been using oil on the ends when my hair is dry. But I’m still losing fistfuls of hair each time I brush regardless 🥺 I thought it was because I fry my hair blonde, but it’s never ever been this bad. I even dyed my hair back to brown in hopes that the break from bleach would alleviate some of the breakage but it’s just continued to give me problems. I’m getting a postpartum cut on Monday, I’m just hoping it helps otherwise I’m just going to shave it and get wigs bc the trauma from brushing my hair is legit going to give me nightmares 🙃
If you’re taking prenatal vitamins stop! 🛑🖐️ my hair was falling out like crazy pp all over the bed floor on my son anywhere I went I left hair. I did some research and found out most countries do not ask you to take prenatal vitamins and as soon as I stopped taking them my hair stopped falling out and my ppd got so much better. I know they say they’re just vitamins to help with the ones we lack during pregnancy but sometimes it’s better to lack them than get artificial ones. And I don’t care what you doctor told you American doctors run by the system they’re not allowed to tell you the truth about medicine.
I am having the same issue and I just bought Hawk Argan Oil repairing spray which is a leave in conditioner and it has made my hair so much easier to detangle. Tbd on whether or not it will feel less dry since I’ve only used it twice, but the deranging alone has been worth it!
Highly recommend lolavie detangling hair spray!! Mine is a nest after washing but with the spray it’s so much better to brush it out
Also it’s natural for the hair to fall out. Nothing to do with what you’re eating or taking. The hair didn’t fall out at the regular rate during pregnancy but now it seems like it’s a lot just because the old hair that should’ve fallen out throughout the year and didn’t, is now coming out! Ensure your ferritin levels are ok post pregnancy as that can contribute to hair falling out. But otherwise it’s all natural unfortunately
You still have hair? So much of mine has fallen out. It's so traumatic. I'm just applying a peppermint oil, vitamin E oil mix to my scalp and hoping for the best.
Mine started this week.....
