What’s going on

My son just started nursery this week and has been sleeping SO BADLY. He is also having a lot more tantrums etc which is out of character. He loves to go, he’s only in 12-3 and around 2 they said he has a little cry saying he misses me but then he’s quickly fine. Could his behaviour just be because it’s developmental and he’s adjusting to a big change? I’m also due my second baby next month so I understand there’s a lot going on for him. But I am shattered 😅

You’re right, it is a lot of big changes for him. New Nursery + mummy having a baby soon. But the fact you know all of this and are conscious of it is great!
It’ll just take him some time to get into Nursery life & then you’ll have Xmas and baby arriving, so I’d give it a while for him to settle & the fact he loves going is absolutely brilliant, completely natural he should miss you an hour toward the end.
Just stick with it, you are both doing amazing x
