Food vs Milk

My daughter is 9 months old and enjoys both food and milk, but sometimes I don’t feel like there is enough hours in the day to give her all 4/5 bottles and then for her to have 3 meals, dessert and snacks… am I doing something wrong or are they supposed to be eating this much? For context, she’s formula fed

My LO is formula fed, he has 3 meals a day and 3 bottles. Bottle at 10 ish and 2ish both 7oz then an 8oz bottle about 6:30 - 6:45 before bed. He sleeps through most nights. He occasionally wakes for a bottle in the night but only a few times in a month.

Okay this makes me feel better for sure. I was worried because she prefers her porridge over her milk first thing in the morning, it kinda just started to throw me off! But thank you xx

Lucky you all. My baby would not accept bottles during the day and she will barely eat, has a loss of appetite and is been 2 months like this. I wish every day my LO can start eating again 😔

My daughters a month behind and we have 6 bottles of breast milk with 2 meals and 1 snack. Her schedule is off because she was very sick recently (shes only just getting back into food and milk) but we normally do 6:50 wake. 7am breast. 8am breakfast while I pump. Nap around 9:30/10:30. Bottle at 11/12 then 30 to an hour later minutes later lunch. Every 3 hours a bottle of milk while i pump and she normally naps again around 4. She gets a snack while we eat dinner at like 6/7. She then goes to sleep any time between 7 and 10. We dream feed her at 10 if she's asleep. She wakes at 3/4am for a feed too.

My little one has just turned 9 months and has now dropped to just an early morning bottle around 5/6am and a bedtime one around 7:30pm. He has breakfast around 8am, lunch around 12:30 and tea about 5:30 and just snacks if he seems hungry or if I dare try to snack in front of him 🙈

@Shanice my LO loves his porridge and fruit for breakfast. I’m sure he’ll drop down to 2 bottles soon, but his lunch is BLW so that’s why he has the 10 and 2 bottle as you never know how much they’ve eaten 😂 xx

Deffo don’t need 4/5 bottles if they’re on 3 meals desserts and snacks! Mines 7 months, 3 meals, 1 dessert after dinner and 2 snacks and only has 3 8oz bottles x

I definitely feel much better! Thank you ladies!

My son is 10 months and he only eats 3 6oz bottles a day cause he mostly eats food. I asked the doctor about it and they said that was totally fine. Some babies prefer to eat more.
