Help with weaning

My 8 month daughter only started her weaning journey end of October on purées at the beginning she loved it then started the refuse and gag after every spoonful so then i decided to start BLW which she seems more interested in however she either just plays with the food or bites it and then spits it back up , i feel like she isn’t eating enough as she should be at 8 months . Any one in the same boat? in need of some advice . Thanks x

We started baby led weaning at 6 months. Took about 2 weeks to stop gagging on everything and a month to actually eat things. He’s 8 months now and has favourite foods but still trying to introduce new foods each week. Milk (breast or formula) is main food source until 1. Try not to stress if your wee one is still only playing with food and tasting it as that counts as exposure. I preserved and now on three meals a day but some meals he has less than others. You’re doing everything right 😊

I have the opposite issue where baby now doesn't really want milk as he just wants proper food. It's stressing me out 🙈 I feel like no matter what, we worry. I don't have any advice unfortunately, but just wanted to offer some solidarity. I HATE weaning so much x

Try not to stress. Milk is their main sourcenof nutrition still. It is still about new tastes and textures right now.
