Hey!! Just looking for some ideas.. obviously now my boy is 10 months old it recommends to have 3 meals a day, I’m just wondering what everyone does for ‘on the go’ like when we are out I feel like I struggle to get that lunch time meal in, I do sandwiches and cold pasta but I just want a bit more inspo! Also do your little ones eat much of what you prepare? Jace can have a couple of mouthfuls/spoonfuls of his meals and be done.. this worry’s me a little as obviously now he’s still having formula too.. but when he turns one in Feb I’m hoping he will want more food once the formula stops?
Thank you!!🩷

My Lo favourite thing when im out is little muffin pizza
So just English muffins cut in half , I put pasta sauce on them and cheese sometimes some mushrooms and peppers and cook in the oven till they look done
I cut these up and just give her bits in the pram x

My 10 month old is really hit and miss with food. I also struggle with lunch as we do a lot of baby classes and his naps can be a bit all over the place (when he has them!) I try and make this the easiest meal of the day and give puree from the freezer if home. In all honesty, if he’s had an OK amount of breakfast, I will often just give him a fruit pouch or yoghurt and puffs/ rice cakes for lunch and a larger dinner if we’re out and about. I was going to try the savoury flapjacks that are in the “what mummy makes” recipe book, but he’s so messy if I give finger foods and I just couldn’t do that in a resteraunt/ cafe.
In terms of how much, I asked my health visitor this recently as my little one will often just take a few spoonfuls, and she said not to worry about intake at all until a year old, as it’s more about exposure at the moment. She said all little ones are different and some will take a lot and others would just rather have milk, and that is OK

I take a little tub of boiled broccoli dipped in cream cheese.
Or an Ella's smoothie pouch.
Sometimes some cooked chicken breast goes down well.
Just a little tupperware with random bits in my house 🤣
As someone else said , it's about exposure to texture, tastes and the concept of meals right now. Not the amount that actually goes in

Awww great thank you ladies!!♥️

My lo has cheese and brocolli scones or spinach, sweetcorn and banana muffins from wean in 15 sometimes

I batch cook potato cakes for on the go. Just mash potato with mashed broccoli and cheese or whatever veg I have. Can eat them hot or cold. I also make salmon and potato cakes. I pack freezer packs in his food bag to keep them cold. He loves them though they are a bit messy as finger food when out and about!

i have food termos, and just put hot food in it and it stays hot , so taking with me everything that i would give at home .. just need to look for a coffee shop that has high chair

oooh can u send recipe for ur veg potato cakes :)
