I always sit in the back with my son, i know that's a luxury, not everyone has, but it definitely makes things so much easier ❤️
Is it still comfortable for your baby? Is it big enough? In my case, my 9 month old was uncomfortable on an infant car seat. We changed it and she is now so happy in her chair. We took a trip this week for the first time and she was fine. We stopped every two hours so that she could stretch a bit. before it was the same as you, 5 mins and she was screaming
Mine would cry so much in her infant car seat (the ones you can take with you everywhere and attach to a stroller). She hated it so much and it was brutal going out anywhere. I decided to transition her to a convertible car seat (the ones you can’t take out with you) and our crying issues predominantly stopped. I think she’s just more comfortable in the roomier seat while still being safe for her.
When I drive I put my little girl on the front seat with the airbag off. She’s absolutely fine, but if I put her in the back on her own she’s absolutely beside herself. It’s so hard! I’m hoping she’s going to grow out of it! X
Thank u so much for advice. But even if we sit in the back he just wants us leans forwards wants us to hold him. Any advice on what car seats to look to buy please xx
Have you got a mirror? My baby can now see me through the mirror which helps. We are still using her Infant car seat and she’s just started crying when she’s first put in it, for Christmas I’ve got her the joie 360 seat and she’s was buzzing when I tested her in it🤣x
We’ve got everything. Mirror hanging toys. iPad attached nothing is working. And I’m dreading going out. I don’t want to go out or anything. It’s depressing me really bad.
@Angharad I think I’ll have to start doing this with my son too cos. He screams his head off
@Justina it’s much better. They’re safe in the front and they can hold your hand. I’m lucky and have a big SUV so I feel safer too. But I just couldn’t concentrate with her being so upset. Nothing else worked. X
I don’t like driving with my son too cos he does same thing but what I’ve realised is if my husband is sat at the back with him he’s fine . It’s only because he’s got attachment issues at the minute xx
