Christening

I'm not even sure if being christened means much to be fair🤷🏼‍♀️ I know people who were christened as a baby & don't follow any faith.

I’m a bit torn, I am of the Christian faith but I would never want to force my child into the religion, I’d just hope that through the life that I live they would want to make that choice themselves. But on the other hand, it’s tradition in my family and I know everyone is gonna judge if I don’t. My husband also doesn’t practice the faith and he 100% is against the christening so I too, have to respect his choice.

I only did the christening thing just to have the event and the little party at the house afterwards. There was no intention to actually follow up with anything religious. I also think it's nice for the godparents to feel chosen.
