Feeding the baby.

Does anyone still feed there baby themselves at 9 months rather than BLW. Baby point blank refuses to put a spoon or any type of food in her mouth (yes I’ve tried everything and will still continue to try until she hopefully does it). I just want to know if I’m the only one. Please no comments telling me what to do, I just simple want to know if anyone is in the same boat.

Yes I still feed my baby myself, BLW wasn't that great for me or maybe I didn't give it enough time!

Ive always fed mine hes tried feeding hinself etc but just chucks it on thr floor sometimes hes 11months now and will feed himself when hes in the right mood but I'll feed him if hes not feeling it just depends what mood hes in. BLW i hated and as soon as i had a choking incident ive always been really weary so wasnt for me, like above he eats those things and loves a pouch which i know some ppl wouldn't agree with but hes fed so im happy

Here for the comments as I’ve started with spoon feeding/purées and not BLW yet. @Hol I am also terrified of starting BLW, hoping I can ask more about your experience - did your baby’s choke and needed the object removing by you or was baby able to gag and cough out the food? I’m so sorry you had to go through that it’s literally my worst nightmare!
